Tiara Watson, A junior psych major in the lab placed first in the behavioral sciences: Individuals at home, school and the workplace category at the Southern Miss Undergraduate Research Symposium. Her presentation is based on her Honors College Thesis. She found that greater maladaptive perfectionism predicted students engaging in more hazardous drinking and experiencing more alcohol-related negative consequences while greater adaptive perfectionism predicted less hazardous drinking, experiencing fewer alcohol-related negative consequences and increased use of protective behavioral strategies. Congratulations Tiara!
