![]() Robert Whitley, a third year doctoral student, successfully defended his dissertation today. He studied the degree to which drinker identity and alcohol protective behavioral strategies mediated the relationship between male gender norm adherence and alcohol outcomes in college males.Congrats Robert! Hallie Jordan, a fourth year doc student, and Tatum Freeman, a senior psychology major received grants to support their travel to the Collaborative Perspectives on Addiction conference this spring. Hallie received a Graduate Competitive Travel Grant for $500 and Tatum received an Eagle Spur Grant for $1300. Both awards from Southern Miss. Congrats.!

She completed this research exploring predictors of seeking nutrition counseling as part of the Outreach Scholars Program she participated in last summer. Nice job Tatum. |
