The paper Alcohol expectancies, protective behavioral strategies, and alcohol-related outcomes: A moderated mediation study was published in Drugs: Education, Prevention & Policy. The research showed that protective behavioral strategies mediated the link between positive alcohol expectancies and alcohol use and negative consequences only for women.
