BAR Lab Objectives and Activities

Objective:
  1. Discuss both content and process of research in college substance use.
  2. Learn different research methods used to study college substance.
  3. Contribute to BAR Lab research.
  4. Enhance technical writing skills.
  5. Produce publications and presentations.
  6. Secure external funding to support BAR Lab research.
Activities:
  1. Attend weekly team meetings.
  2. Present on one's research.
  3. Read BAR Lab related materials.
  4. Receive training in MI and assessment tools.
  5. Support BAR Lab members' research.
  6. Attend state, regional and national professional meetings.
Dr. Madson will be accepting PhD students for 2016.
